Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

Compared to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon is more suited for the smaller / younger ones with it's wave pools and other relaxing water based attractions. Themed on a storm swept tropical island, the centrepiece of the park is 'Miss Tilly', a marooned shrimp boat impaled on top of the iconic volcano named 'Mount Mayday', that erupts a 50-foot column of water every 30 minutes. The park is home to the worlds largest outdoor wavepool and offers a variety of slides, gushers, rapids, waves, reefs, pools, falls and even a 'Kowabunga' to keep the most energetic children busy all day. In addition to the slides and pools why not learn to surf at Craig Carroll's Cocoa Beach Surf School or snorkkel through an unheated, saltwater reef populated with manta rayes, tropical fish, bonnet head and leopard sharks. Snorkels, mask and lifejackets are provided free of charge.

Disney's Blizzard Beach

Blizzard Beach is the second and most recent addition to Disney's water parks and is another great day out. This water park is geared up for the more energetic of us with its thrill seeking slides and water attractions claiming to have the world's tallest and fastest free-fall body slide, reaching speeds of up to 60 miles per hour from it's 120 feet peak. Modelled on an alpine ski resort, Blizzard beach provides one of Orlando's wierdest sensations - yes, snow covered mountains under the heat of the Florida's sun. The ski chair lift will take you to the top of Mount Gushmore, the centrepiece of Blizzard Beach where you will find a number of big thrill slides and attractions, whilst the lazy river and many other water slides will cater for both the older child as well as the little ones.

Wet 'n Wild

Wet 'n Wild, was once Orlando's most exciting waterpark, offering the best variety of multi-passenger tube rides. However, with the arrival of Disney's Blizzard Beach impacting on it's popularity, Wet'n Wild are hitting back with the introduction of some new and exciting adventures for the 'water thrill seeker' as well as a host of smaller kids attractions. Wet'n Wild's newest six story water thrill adventure awaits as you encounter the hypnotizing powers of the Brain Wash, whilst Disco H20's retro raft adventure gives you an opportunity to 'splash on down' to the hits of the seventies. If it's heart-stopping plunges you're looking for then a trip on the 76-foot nearly vertical Bomb Bay slide will certainly do the trick ! For the younger ones, or those who wish to take things a little easier the Lazy River and Kids Park featuring smaller versions of the popular adult rides will make a great backdrop to any relaxing afternoon.

Aquatica

Aquatica is the newest addition to the ever growing number of water themed parked in Orlando. Offering a combination of animal experiences, water rides and slides, high-speed thrills and over 80,000 square feet of white relaxing sandy beaches appealing to all ages. An eight-lane racing slide, racing tunnels, triple-drop raft rides and inner tube river adventure are amongst the many water based attractions to stimulate your adventurous side, whilst the two large side-by-side wave lagoons, offer two very different experiences; one has crashing waves and five-foot swells whilst the other has a gently rolling surf. One of the signature attractions of the new park is a very special water slide. It consists of a pair of clear acrylic tubes that swimsuit clad guests will slide down through a pool inhabited by black and white Commerson's dolphins, giving the impression of flying under water.
